On Tuesday we started the day with a visit to the Cape Cod Lavender Farm. The farm is tucked way back in the woods off a dirt road; Ellie spied a pair of horses as we slowly made our way toward the farm. When we arrived, the scent of lavender was everywhere but the barn was especially fragrant. We bought some lavender buds and couldn't pass up a chance to try milk chocolate with lavender oil. The verdict: it tasted about as good as it sounds!
