On Saturday we spent the day in Cambridge. We hit a great sale at an independent toy store, then went for lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Despite the dreary weather, we had a wonderful time!

On Friday night after work, Ellie and I headed out for a walk in the rain. She was really happy to wear her rain boots from Auntie Heidi and Uncle Chris and her new rain coat from Grammy and Grandpa!

So this is Ellie's new favorite thing: Jumping off low ledges, falling down, and then getting up to try again. As you can see, she's remarkably good-natured about all the bumps and bruises!

Costumes!

On Saturday we attended a Halloween costume bazaar; it was a fundraiser for an adoption group in RI, so they were selling used Halloween costumes on the cheap. We scored some great dress-up clothes for my work kids, plus a couple of potential Halloween costumes for Ellie (the costumes we like for this year aren't featured here, by the way). Ellie was a very willing costume model once we got home, which made the day's shopping even more fun.
