Halloween friends

A trick that's a treat

This morning Ellie pulled up on a kiddie chair and then pushed it around the room! She's out of control with the cruising, eh?

Happy Halloween from Flamingo Ellie!

Autumn, baby

"Are you a champion?"

If you ask Ellie if she's a champion, she'll clasp her hands above her head in a victory pose. It's almost disgustingly cute, so we ask her about 100 times a day. She'll do it on her own, too, at which point we always exclaim, "Ellie's a champion! YAY!" It's good times here, friends.

Cruising

Ellie pulls up on the furniture and even cruises around a bit! She's shaky and slow, but she's doing it.

Teething and swinging

Pulling up to standing

Ellie's pulling up like crazy now! She's really proud of herself when she first stands up, but she gets nervous about letting herself fall backwards when her legs get tired. She's even doing a tiny bit of cruising and holding on with just one hand, as in this photo. What a star!

On the slide

Here's Ellie and her good friend on the slide. How cute are they together?

At the park

Ellie had a great time at our local playground this morning. She sat on the ground there for the first time and only tried to eat the wood chips once! She especially liked pulling up onto a low stool. I showed her how to do it once, then she dragged herself onto it a dozen more times. She did great!
