Ellie had some routine blood work done this morning, which went relatively well. She was a real trouper--she even recovered quickly enough to say goodbye to the lab techs. After we left the hospital, we drove to a local barnyard so she could see the "a'mals," which is one of her favorite things these days. She was lively and animated when watching the llamas, sheep, horse, and birds, but by the time we got home she was zonked (as you can see in the above pictures). I offered her lots of food and drink, then put her down for her regular nap this afternoon. She's asleep now and I hope that she'll feel better when she wakes up.
