Easter Morning

We got Ellie ready for church in the early morning. She wore a white Ralph Lauren dress, a hand-crocheted sweater made by my great aunt Ethel that I wore as a baby, tights (her first pair), and a pair of patent leather shoes from our next-door neighbor. We wrapped her in a beautiful hand-crocheted blanket from our dear friend Betty, a woman who's like a grandmother to Annette.
Ellie was great during the service! She looked around at all the people and listened to the music; after that, she had a bottle and fell asleep till church was over. She was the youngest baby in attendance, and she got lots of attention. I think her favorite part was looking at the beautiful stained glass windows.
For those who might be interested in such things, it looks like Ellie will be baptized over Columbus Day weekend. We'll send out more info as the date gets closer, but everyone is invited!
